Our Leadership Structure
Chairman
Peter Graham, CBE, is the Chairman of the Port Moresby General Hospital (PMGH) Board. He brings more than four decades of international leadership experience across the minerals, oil and gas sectors and has held senior executive and board positions in Papua New Guinea and internationally.
Mr Graham previously served as Managing Director of ExxonMobil PNG Limited from 2009 to 2015, where he led the delivery of the PNG LNG Project, and later served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Ok Tedi Mining Limited from 2015 to 2020. He has also held leadership roles with Kumul Minerals Holdings Limited and PNG Sustainable Development Program Limited.
As PMGH Board Chairman, he has supported the hospital's strategic development, governance, staff development and transition toward becoming a leading national tertiary referral, teaching and research hospital. He was awarded Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 2013 for services to the oil and gas industry and leadership in community development in Papua New Guinea.
Board Member
Dr. Paki Molumi, MBBS, DLO, MMED (Otolaryngology), MBA, is the Chief Executive Officer of Port Moresby General Hospital (PMGH) and a specialist Ear, Nose, Throat–Head & Neck Surgeon. He was appointed CEO in September 2019 after previously serving PMGH in senior clinical and management roles, including ENT Services Coordinator, Director of Medical Services and Acting CEO.
Originally from Mendi, Southern Highlands Province, Dr. Molumi has more than two decades of clinical experience and has also lectured at the University of Papua New Guinea School of Medicine and Health Sciences. His professional background combines specialist clinical practice with hospital administration and healthcare leadership.
As CEO, he has overseen PMGH's continued development as Papua New Guinea's national referral and teaching hospital, including efforts to expand specialist services in areas such as cancer, cardiac and kidney care, while strengthening hospital infrastructure and clinical capacity.
